Terms and Conditions

• The minimum age to participate in our Spanish courses in Granada is 16 years old, and always with parental authorization if they are under 18 years old.
• Cancellations must always be made in writing.
• Cancellations made up to 3 weeks before the start of the course will have a cost of 45 €.
• If the cancellation is made less than 3 weeks in advance, the 90 € deposit will not be refunded. You will be able to use this deposit for a course within the following 6 months.
• Once the course has started, no changes or cancellations can be made, and no refunds will be given if you decide to drop out before the end of the course. If you bring someone to take your place, you will not be required to pay any cancellation fee.
• It is not possible to cancel accommodations. If you wish to extend accommodation, request a justified change or request extra nights, you must complete a specific request in the office.
• To cancel an individual class or make a change of day or time it is necessary to write an email to info@delengua.es before 18.00 of the previous day; otherwise, those classes cannot be recovered and must be paid for. It is necessary to stop by the office and fill out a specific form that will be signed and stamped by the school.
• Minimum number of students: the minimum number of students in an intensive course is 3. If the number of students is 2, two thirds of the class time (2 hours per day) will be received. If a student is the only one in his/her level, he/she will receive 50% (1.5 hours per day).
• Individual classes: Individual classes are for one student only. If two or more people want a shared class, they must contract private group classes.
• Course or individual class extensions: to extend your course you need to send an email to info@delengua.es or inform the office before Wednesday at 18.00; if you do it later, we cannot guarantee that there will be space for you next week. It is necessary to come to the office and fill out a specific form that will be signed and stamped by the school.
• Payment for classes: if you have not completed the payment before your arrival, it is necessary to do so on the first day of the course (the course can be paid by credit card; accommodation has to be paid in cash). Lessons booked later will be paid for at the time of booking.
• To receive the certificate of attendance, it is necessary to attend at least 80% of the classes. The certificate specifies: the start and end dates of the course, the number of classes attended, the number of weeks, and the level of the course. The certificate issued is exclusive to Escuela Delengua and is not valid as an official document, in accordance with the legislation of non-regulated education.
• Escuela Delengua may take pictures or videos of students to promote its services in different channels (social networks and web page). If you do not agree, please send us an email to info@delengua.es and we will respect your decision.
• Return to Delengua: we will charge you the extension price (cheaper) if you decide to return within 8 weeks from the end of your last course.
• Only the prices published this year will be taken into account when correcting any errors in our correspondence with students.
• Your data will only be used to send you information about our courses and will not be passed on to third parties. You also have the right to access, rectify and cancel your data at any time by sending us an email.

Lodging conditions

• Accommodations are from Sunday to Saturday. You can ask us for extra nights; please note that extra nights have an additional cost and are subject to availability.
• You can arrive at the lodgings from 12 pm on Sundays.
• You have to leave your accommodation at 11 am on Saturdays.

Pick-up Service Conditions

• The hours for the pick-up service are from 08.00 a.m. to 11.00 p.m.
• The pick-up service between 11.01 p.m. and 07.59 a.m. is subject to an extra charge of 50% of the price.
• In case of delay, the first hour of waiting time for our staff is included in the price of the service.
• The following hours will have a surcharge of 15 euros per hour.

Satisfaction Guarantee

If upon arrival you consider that our services do not meet the quality offered by us, you can file a complaint, in writing, at the school office during the first 3 school days of your stay.
We commit ourselves to solve the situation within two working days, or to refund your money if we are unable to do so.
If there are discrepancies of interpretation between the student and Escuela Delengua, then we will resort to the independent arbitration of the Oficina de Consumo to determine if this is a situation that requires the application of our money back guarantee.

Insurance

Our School advises students to obtain insurance. Insurance is not included in the price of the course. We recommend that European Union citizens obtain a European Health Insurance Card from the public health authorities in their country of origin, which will allow them to obtain free public health care in Spain.
